A. Definition of wisdom teeth

Wisdom teeth are the third molars that are the last to grow. Usually, these teeth will start growing when you enter your teens, which is around 17 to 20's. The number of teeth in an adult alone is 32.

Wisdom teeth often cause excruciating pain. This usually occurs when there is no more space left in the gums where the wisdom teeth occupy.

B. Wisdom teeth will grow in four parts of the jaw

  • top right back
  • top left back
  • rear bottom right,
  • rear bottom left.

C. Impacted wisdom teeth

Impacted wisdom teeth can cause symptoms such as swelling, pain, and even fever, especially if these teeth puncture the surrounding teeth and gums. There is no way to prevent wisdom teeth from growing sideways. This tooth growth is natural and depends on the condition of the previous tooth seed.



D. What happens when wisdom teeth grow in the wrong place or on an angle.


If it grows in the right direction and position, the growth of the last tooth is not a problem. However, if the growth of these teeth is tilted, it will hurt. Wisdom teeth can grow sideways in different directions. It can grow horizontally (sideways), towards or away from the second molar, or grow inward or outward.



The last molars that grow obliquely can damage the adjacent teeth. Not only that, severe nerve and jaw bone damage can also occur.
